TROOPs 519 & 532

SUMMER BACKPACKING TRIP TO GOAT LAKE, 2022

WELCOME

Who are we?

Troops 519 (girls) and 532 (boys) are small and independent Scouts BSA troops, supported by the non-profit organization Friends of Kirkland Scouting. Our two troops work together and share our programming and experiences.

What do we do?

  1. All things outdoors: backpacking, camping, biking, hiking, canoeing, climbing...you name it!

  2. Explore and try new things

  3. Learn

    • Practical life skills (and how to apply them)

    • Impractical (but fun!) life skills

4. Positively impact community and the world around us

When and where?

We meet at Kirkland Middle School when school is in session and at Kirkland's Everest Park during the summer and holidays, from 6:30-7:45 p.m.

Questions?

Our Guide for New Families will help get you oriented to Scouting in general and our Troops in particular.

We want to hear from you! Send us an email.

Suggestions?

Send in any suggestions you have through the Suggestion Box. We will review them at the PLC Meetings. Your suggestion can be anonymous if you want, but if you tell us who you are, we can follow up with you if we have questions.

  • How can we improve the troop?

  • Activities that you'd like the troop to do?

  • Feedback (positive or constructive) on events?

  • Anything we need to fix with the website?

  • Anything else on your mind?
